Star of the Show Ingredients:

Oats, coconut oil and pumpkin seeds together give a good balance of carbohydrate healthy fats and protein which will give sustained energy and satiety.

Pumpkin seeds as well as being a good plant -based source of omega 3 are a particularly rich source of zinc which is essential for growth in children and for a healthy immune system. They are also a great source of magnesium, iron and trytophan which promotes restful sleep.

  • 100 grams rolled oats (use GF if needed)

  • 30  grams Pumpkin seeds

  • 75 grams dried mango 

  • 30 ml Coconut oil 

  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla powder/essence  

  • 15 ml Water


Makes 15 



  1. Chop the mango into small cubes.

  2. Place oats, coconut oil, vanilla, water, ½ the mango and 20 g ofpumpkin seeds into a high-speed blender. Blend for 1 minute or until mixture starts to come together, you may need to stop a few times to push any mixture stuck on the sides back into the centre and add a some more water if not sticking together but go carefully so as not to make too wet.

  3. Add remaining mango and pumpkin seeds and blend for a few seconds

  4. Form into small balls by pushing the mixture into the palm of your hand (makes about 15).

  5. Place in the fridge for at least 20 minutes before eating to help the mixture stick together.

  6. Store in fridge
