MATCHA BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE BOWL

Star of the Show Ingredients:

Tahini is a rich source of calcium which is supportive of bone health, 

Matcha is a wonderful source of anti-oxidants and contains the amino acid L-theanine which supports relaxation, concentration. Matcha has also been shown to exert positive effects on the body’s ability to burn calories.

Coconut water is full of minerals such as potassium and magnesium.

 

Ingredients:

2 frozen bananas (leave to soften for a few minutes)

I heaped teaspoon tahini

1 large handful of spinach

½ teaspoon Matcha powder

1/2 cup coconut water (add slowly to reach desired consistency)

¼ tsp optional maple syrup to sweeten if necessary 

 

Topping options:  Raspberries/ Sliced Kiwi/ handful of granola

 

Method:

Place the banana, tahini, spinach, matcha and coconut water in a high speed blender (eg Vitamix) and blend until smooth

 

Enjoy with toppings of choice
