Star of the Show Ingredients: Kale

Did you know that 1 single cup of kale well over 600% of your daily recommended amount of vitamin K? Vitamin K plays an important role in keeping calcium in the bones, making this a great smoothie for your growing kids.

 

Ingredients (Serves 2):

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1/4 - 1/2 avocado

  • 1 scoop of protein powder. We love the vanilla protein powder from Nuzest

  • 1 large handful of kale (any other greens work well here too try spinach, chard, romaine)

  • 1 cup of milk of your choice

Supercharge with: 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1tbsp collagen powder, 1 tbsp greens powder

 

 

Method:

Place all ingredients into a blender/Nutri bullet and blitz.
