Prawns with Garlic & Chilli Courgetti

Star of the Show:  Prawns

Not a fan of oily fish? Prawns are a great source of Omega 3 and with the added benefit of being loaded with vitamin B12, B6 and Niacin which are required in our body for energy production.


TNT top tip - Look for prawns that are MSC sustainable.


Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 12 cooked king prawns, fully cleaned and deveined

  • 2 courgette (zucchini)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1tbsp olive oil

  • 12 cherry tomatoes

  • 1 red chilli, finely chopped



1. Preheat the oven to 200C. Place the tomatoes on a baking tray and drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper. Cook for approximately 15 minutes. When cooked, remove from the oven and set aside.

2. To make the courgetti use a spiraliser. If you do not have one, do not worry. You can use a ribbon peeler instead.
3. Add the prawns, chilli. the rest of the olive oil to the pan and heat though for 2-3 minutes. Add the courgetti and cook for another 3-4 minutes until warmed through. Be careful not to overcook as they will be very soggy!

4.Divide equally into two bowls and add the tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper.

5. Serve straightaway.
